This touched my heart so much. I can't imagine my own mother ever saying this to me, but somehow, reading it in your message opens my mind to the possibility. One of the devotees here took her mother to see Amma in Chicago this year. That too was very inspiring to behold. > If she's is able, I continue to pray she will meet Amma in Ann Arbor. > She considered coming last November but a lifetime of churchgoing as a > Roman Catholic makes the concept of "living Master or Guru or avatar" > difficult to understand. As I have watched my mother grow more frail, I have been so grateful for the times I can remember that Amma is behind me and my mother. My sense of overwhelmed diminished some time ago when I finally realized that our mothers and we as mothers suffered so much when we did not know Amma was there for us. Or, as I put it in a little chant I made: "Every mother needs a mother. Where's the mother of the mothers?" As I once again become my mother's mother (as I was as a child), I rejoice in knowing that Amma holds me up and helps me, even when I'm 1000 miles from my mother and father, who could use my direct support every day. May Amma's will be done in my heart and all of yours, Kenna/Premarupa
