I am sobbing with such a sense of release and reverence. I still carry around such a feeling of unworthiness and hearing about this beautiful scene I can let some of it go. I have felt throughout this whole UN episode a sense of awe at watching Mother humble HerSelf to the role of participant at the summit. I have felt that She has been demonstrating the egolessness and Oneness that She experiences, that we can only hope to get a glimpse of. On Saturday evening in San Ramon we were privileged to watch video footage of Amma's talk and prayer and surrounding events. David, a member of our satsang who is a photographer, had a press pass for the summit. I was deeply touched when he said that Amma had seemed very attentive to the presentations of the other participants. It was amazing to see Her sitting there watching and listening, resting Her arms on the long table in front of Her and to see Her walking up to take Her turn, a small figure in white with such infinite Grace. I'd never seen Her walking without being surrounded before. May we learn from Her example of Humility! Thank you Chandrika for your sharing, pranams to you all and 1,000 fold to our Amma, Amalia
Guest guest
Dear Chandrika, Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with Amma during her UN visit. Your last post moved me very deeply. Just yesterday I was struggling with feelings of being alone and doubting that I was a worthy person. Thank you for bringing Mother's love into my heart today and helping me to remember and experience that She is very close and that She loves me and all Her children in every moment. May we all be sustained in this awareness of Mother's abiding love for us and may we allow Her to transform our hearts so that we may give love as She does. May Mother bless you all, just as she blesses the entire world with Her presence. Jai Jai Ma! Vaishnavi
