Guest guest
Dear friends, I am so thrilled each day to read all these wondeful things each of you write about your lives and Amma. I just wanted to say thank you for the posts. It really is good for someone like me who is new to all of this to read such wonderful experiances you all share. I know I feel her in my day to day goings on as a mom and wife and I wonder sometimes if I am really feeling her or just really wanting to feel her so bad I imagine I do. And at times when I feel like I am not a good mother or wife I go and sit on my bed and look at my altar and the pictures I have and I will hear some wonderful words to encourage me to keep going and to keep looking for her in those around me and to offer up my tasks and housework. I find myself as I make choices wondering "would Mother approve of this?" My life has been changing since meeting her this past summer in NYC and I so glad for it. Again I just wanted to say thank you and I am so blessed to be a part of this list. Namaste, Shelly
Guest guest
Shelly, thank you for your sweet post. I don't think most people know how their simple, innocent comments can impact someone. I really love the amazing stories people have, but also just mentioning the simple ways one keeps Amma in their everyday life can be of great benefit. Yours was an amazing story (hearing encouraging words - that's amazing) and great benefit to me - I guess I needed your particular angle at this time. I would send this to you privately, but I want to encourage those other quiet voices out there by saying that if they feel moved to write something it may be that someone is needing to hear what you have to say. thank YOU!
