Guest guest
Here's the story, as told by Jyotsna, the famous story teller.... It was told to me by a man from Austin, and if he's on this net, I apologize for telling "your" story. (But it's a good one!) The very first time Mother was in Dallas, the programs were held in a very poor section of town. This man's sister and brother-in-law had to park a few blocks from the hall. They saw Mother and walked back to where their car was parked, only to find, to their dismay, that their car had been stolen! They went back to the hall, very upset, to use the telephone. The brother-in-law loudly demanded to use the phone, and the devotees there said very caringly, "Of course you can use the phone, but please tell us why you are upset." When the couple related that their car was stolen, the devotees said, "Please use our phone to call the police, but then please go in and see Mother again. We'll take you right into Her." Still upset, the couple finished calling the police and then were taken to Amma. Their situation was explained to Mother, who said, "Don't worry. Everything will be okay." or words to that effect. The couple were given a ride home and had been home about an hour and a half when the phone rang. It was the police. They said, "We have your car. It's fine; nothing has been damaged. It was found near a park with the engine running and all four doors wide open, as though the occupants had suddenly been frightened away by someone or something! We don't know what happened, but your car is fine!" Messenger - Talk while you surf! It's FREE. http://im./
Guest guest
Thanks for saving that Nigama! I was going through my sent folder, but hadn't saved it. (Nigama is the friend who originally asked me to share the story!) Any other stories you'd like recounted?
