Guest guest
Dear Brothers and Sisters, I have a small story from San Rafeal. It was the evening Amma was going to serve dinner to all of us. First there was meditation with Amma. It was so divine and sublime -- You could feel the presence of Amma and it was sweet. After that everybody was lining up for dinner. Next to me was a man with a little boy on his shoulders. The little boy,was asking his father, "Can I eat macaroni and cheese tonight?" His father said "I don't know." Everyone was lining up and waiting and then something very material -- of this world happened -- You know how when many people are gathered together in a line - like at concerts, airports and things don't go exactly as they want it to and there is irritation. So people were feeling that the lines were not going properly or the other lines were going faster than ours etc -- It was not very nice - the atmosphere and vibrations. So sad, no? At that point I heard in a soft but very sweet and lilting voice the little boy started saying "Om Namah Sivaya" Soon his father joined him. Then all the people near him. Then the chanting spread like a wave in a still pond -- through the room. It was so beautiful and so calming - Then they opened the door and we could see Amma standing and handing plates to the people ahead of us. We all chanted till we got near our Divine Mother. Oh the grace of God and the beautiful blessing we all have - being Amma's blessed children!! Isn't this a magical lifetime? Om Namah Sivaya. Aum Amriteshvaryai Namah. Jai Ma! Jai Ma! Jai Jai Jai Amma! with love and wishing everybody peace, Ramya
Guest guest
Sweet story. One occurrence from San Rafael that comes to my mind was that one afternoon, at the end of darshan, Mother spent a long time - nearly 5 minutes I'd estimate - attending to a quadriplegic in a wheelchair named Jason. She kept saying his name, rubbing ash on his legs, stroking his heart and forehead, and while she was doing this, everyone starting singing "Om Namah Shivaya" in a soft voice. Many people were crying. The love in the atmosphere was so thick you could have scooped it with a spoon. -- Dear Brothers and Sisters, I have a small story from San Rafael. Guest guest
Nice story! I don't know how many people already know this, but Jason has his own website <www.jasonbecker.com> where you can read "Jason's words" where he tells his story and some of his experiences with Amma. Guest guest
Thanks for the reference, Jyotsna. A lot of people express curiosity about Jason and I never remember about the web site. --- Ellen Lamb <jyotsna2 wrote: > Nice story!
