Guest guest
Dear Gayle, Yes as Amritanand says Triveni is one of the most sacred spots in India. And not only does it imply the confluence of the holy rivers in the outer level- in the inner level it is the point where the Ida, Pingala and Shushumna meet- they are the 'channels ' of the Kundalini- Ida and Pingala it seems are the solar and lunar nadis on either side of the Shushumna which is the central nadi by which the Shakti rises. The three meet at the meeting point in the forehead -the Third Eye - the eye of Knowledge and that i think is the Ajna chakra. Those yogis , according to Sri Ramakrishna, who through bhakti and sadhana have received the Grace of God, when their Kundalini reaches the ajna chakra, they enjoy 'an uniterrupted vision of God'. So your name does mean a LOT. Namah Shivaya, bala >Dear Amritanand, > >Thank you so much for the information on Triveni.
