Guest guest
Om Amrtesvaryai Namah!! Namaste darling sister Diana Devi!! WoW!!!!Linda Johnsen did it for you too!!!and you had a very similar experience to what i had...although i hadn't seen Amma's photo or knew anything about Her until i got there at the back of the book...the same reaction though, except i was a little more "careful" in the "Guru" department...i wasn't looking for one of those...i just wanted Divine Mother...Isn't She something?...one look at Her picture and we're hooked...is that Sakti or what? Your chart did look interesting compared with Amma's and with the transits for the approximate period around july 23 (a date i just grabbed out of the hat....what was the real date?)...it looks like Sani or Saturn or Mother Kali is somehow very important in your life Of course since we see Amma as Mother Kali, that would make sense wouldn't it? YOu see, the transits for that period include a transit of Rahu/Ketu axis over your Natal Saturn, and a transit of Saturn over your natal Rahu....a double transit involving the same planets...pretty cool as Rahu and Ketu are the "karmic" connectors between you and Amma as the Mother Kali.....Also Venus (another Divine Mother Planet...and Parmahansa Yogananda's Atmakaraka (soul indicator) was transitting your natal sun....both of which were directly aspected in a 7-7 relationship by Sani and Rahu Ketu....Hmmmm!!!!do we have a karmic relaationship between you and Yogananda and Amma or what...i see them both playing about in your chart the time you met Amma (if it's any where near the date i gave....Moon and ascendant will be different and the others will move a bit...but it seems very powerful... Also the Sun was transitting your natal Venus!!!! pretty cool i'd say. Like our sister Jyotsna and myself, Yoganandaji had brought you to our Amma.....what a wonder....isn't He sweet? Let's all send Him a prayer of thanks!!!!Jaya Guru!!!! Sri Guru Ki Jai!! also dear sister in your natal chart you have Ascendant, Jupiter (GURU) and Mercury in Virgo in your 1st....which is lying in Amma's 12th house...also Virgo, and wherein are the Sun and Mercury (Amma's Atmakaraka)...Thus your Guru is Amma!!!(as if we didn't know it already.)...looking another way, we can find that your ninth house is Taurus...the Guru's home...wherein lies Amma's Natal Moon!!!, and whose ruler is Venus....(Yogananda's Atmakaraka!), and whose other sign Libra, contains Amma's Sani and Lagna (Saturn and Ascendant). This clearly also points the finger at Amma.... another technique would look for the Ishta devata by first finding the Atmakaraka...in your case it appears to be Moon....now where is Moon in the navamsha....it's in Virgo...and the sign 12th to that is Leo...wherein are sitting BOTH Sani and Venus....Kali and Laksmi, Anmma and Yoganandaji!!!Wow! That IS neat!!!It also indicates their unitary mission in your life....as that is where your natal sun is...the Parashari Atmakaraka for the soul....the one i gave you before, is the Jaimini Atmakaraka, and is seen by which planet is the furthest along in degrees in any sign, doesn't matter...the Graha with the most degrees wins...in this case it was Moon..... Of course since those Grahas Venus and Sani were in Leo, ruled by Sun this could indicate that Sun has something to do with Ishtadevata also....it's just another indication....as Amma's Mars Mercury and Ketu are in Her Navamsha Leo...corresponding with your Venus and Sani... So as i said it's pretty amazing to study the charts of the devotees. and pretty amazing to hear their stories...i wonder how many of Mother's children came to Her thru Her grace in Linda Johnsens' lovely book???maybe we should take a survey? Maybe we should send Linda our undying gratitude...knowing that Amma most definitely has a special place for such a wonderful daughter, who could bring so many longing children home to Her celestial lap..... In Amma's Divine Love and in Her Service, this littlest one salutes you all!!! as ever, your own self, visvanathan Om Amrtesvaryai Namah!!! Guest guest
Namaste Visvanathan and everyone! I am so sorry to take so long to reply. Yes, the story was so similar I had to pipe up and post, even though it's difficult for me because I don't have a computer of my own.. Good Mother Shakti is always playing with us! When we stray she will catch us in her maya round-up, bring us back to the fold. I first met Mother in July in NYC but I can't recall the exact date now- the 23rd is not a bad guess and will be close enough for transits in a equal house format (sorry if I'm not making sense here). Amazingly, Saturn has been a strong force for me. Astro- geographically I live in a Saturn ruled (as per my chart) area, in numerology the number 8 recurs constantly in my life (birthdate and name both = 8), and the Goddess as Durge was my first intimate experience with Divine Mother - I dreamed of her (I drempt I was being held down or pulled down and strangled but I couldn't see who was doing this to me, couldn't turn my head and see - ghosts? - I knew I wanted to wake up but I couldn't and I started to call God, Jesus, Krsna, ANYBODY, to save my life when there SHE came, just like in the pictures riding Her tiger and She drew Her sword and ran it right through me! I thought I felt the swoosh of Her sword right through my middle, yet it didn't hurt me and I was freed from the - Ghosts? - and I woke up.)Sri Laksmi (and Sri Krsna)is also special to me (another big story for a future post).. Kali and Laksmi are intrinsic to me.. I am like them in ways, mostly I'm very kind (Laksmi) but I have a definite cruel, yet not malicious, streak that shocks people when they see it (Kali). OK, I work at a Jewish Temple (thank you Ma!) so I have to go to Shabbat service. Thank you Wise and Wonderful Jnana Jyotisha Visvanathan! Keep on speading your light with your posts! Bye Y'all! Shabbat Sholom and Jai Amriteswayai Namah!!!
