Tonight is the anniversary of when we boarded an Air Kuwait plane in Chicago to travel to India last year. I hope to be sharing little pieces of that precious experience as the days pass. I went through a lot in previous weeks because I could not go again this year. But as surrender came, it became clearer why: our old cat is on her way out of this life and it would have been devastating to leave her. Our dog just required surgery unexpectedly. And Amma is gone from the Ashram almost this whole month on a south India tour. But this complainer had lots of fun grousing about it.... Now I feel so calm and happy.
