Guest guest
Dear Sibs in Amma, Please, does anyone on this list know the bajan that Big Swami wrote last year, that gets sung a lot at San Ramon? Rasya taught it to us here in Madison in early December, and I've been singing it and teaching it based on her recording, but someone challenged that way, saying they heard Amma singing it another way at San Ramon....It is the chant "Sakti ta (or da or day???) jagadambe, Bhati ta (or da or day????), etc. Could someone please tell me exactly how the ta or da or day is to be pronounced? Gratefully, Premarupa
Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, Premarupa, The words to that bhajan were passed out once during one of the San Ramon satsangs last year. What I have is: Sakthi Ta Jagadambe Bhakthi Ta Jagadambe Premam Ta Jagadambe Viswasam Tamnenne Rakshikyu Amriteswaryai I have only heard it sung a couple of times, but it moved me a lot. I wish I could remember the melody. It was hauntingly beautiful. - "Kenna" <ammaskenna <amma-l; "Ammachi list" <Ammachi > Monday, January 22, 2001 2:29 PM help with a bajan > Dear Sibs in Amma, > > Please, does anyone on this list know the bajan that Big Swami wrote last > year, that gets sung a lot at San Ramon?
