Guest guest Posted January 19, 2001 Report Share Posted January 19, 2001 I thought you'd all enjoy this bit of news from Amritanand and Mrityunjayan who have joined Mother on Her current South India tour: "We are in the wonderful ancient temple city of Madurai after two days at Amma's programs here! We left her in the middle of Devi Bhava last night (Thursday 1/18). She was dressed in a beautiful green and gold sari. The bhajans during Devi Bhava were wonderful with Swami Amritageetananda leading them for many hours...There was no Devi puja, but since there is a Brahmasthanam Temple on the grounds of the M.A. Math here, they did a puja to the god Saturn, then bhajans led by Amma, then Devi Bhava darshan We reach Madras (Chennai) tomorrow."
