Namaste darling siblings!!! i too, had tried to write from the Amritapuri website, and it failed...then i tried to "make" an email address from the information in the location bar....it got sent, and then later returned as the email address wasn't right (not surprising as i had just made it up!) however, dear siblings, i went back to the Amritapuri website at the letter sending place...and on the button which says "i offer unto you" i right clicked...and then clicked on the View Source....and there in the middle of all that Computer language was the email address....with the instructions Mail to:.....so i tried to copy and paste that...no luck...so i just wrote it down, and then put it into the "to:" box in my mail....and it seems to have worked!!! no returned mail! Namaste all!! in reference to writing to Amma and using the website URL for this...perhaps it works for some browsers and not others...perhaps it works for Internet Explorer for example...but not for Netscape Communicator....in my case with Netscape, i have lots of trouble with Amma's website at Amritapuri...more often than not, i can do nothing there...as soon as i click on a menu item, chances are my computer will tell me that the program has committed an illegal act and will be shut down....and there i am looking at my wallpaper...Amma's feet....a good lesson in humility. so perhaps this might explain the troubles that other people have also.... it DID work when i used the "mail to" address from the "View Source" window....
