Dear Divine Siblings,

This morning as I was getting ready for work, the thought suddenly came,

"Amma, I wouldn't mind all these trials and tribulations so much if I

could only feel that you are constantly watching over me and CARE!"

Tears welled up in my eyes as I was stricken with this feeling of utter

desolation.

As if in answer to my feelings, the e-Amritavani carries TWO excerpts

from Amma's talks about how God is CONSTANTLY watching over us! Time and

again, Amma has patiently asured me every time I am assailed by doubts

that She IS looking after us, but this doubting mind never gives up! She

has gone to great lengths to comfort me saying, "Don't worry about your

doubting moments, that is the very NATURE of the mind. The trick is to

not pay any attention."

I feel that we are indeed the luckiest of all creatures in the whole

creation, for nestling safely in HER lap, we can carry on our games. She

will not let us STRAY too far!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, my DARLING AMMA!

Jai Ma!

That's wonderful..... what a blessing! I must say, the

e-Amritavani has consistently amazed me as a vehicle

for Amma's Wisdom and Love.... each time it shows up

in my mailbox, there's at least one or two passages

that DIRECTLY speak to what's going on for me at the

time, that give me just what I need to carry on. Happy

to hear it working that way for others as well. Our

Amma is always finding ways to keep Her children near

to Her, it seems! Thank you, Amma!

In Mother's Love,

Michael

Oh Chandrika:

Please consider that this is not the truth. For God to be "watching over"

implies a separation between God and us. It is a statement that God is not us

and we are not God.

Please consider that there is NO SEPARATION between God and us. We are God.

God is us. Period.

It really hurts me that there is so much separation in so called "Christian"

churches and in their beliefs. It cetainly was not the teachings of Jesus.

Om Amrtesvaryai Namah.

Amma is clear that as long as we do not experience this, as long as we dwell

in the land of duality, it can be useful to have concepts such as God

watching over us. We are God but we are not consistantly aware of this Truth.

If there was no place for an externalized form or concept of God, what would

we need Amma for? Of course God is ultimately found within, but the power of

the ego is such that most of us need more than just ourselves to find

Him/Her/It. OAN, Amalia
