Guest guest
Dear Chandrika Sharma, My guess is that it was meant specifically for Irene Tweedy. I read that book too and was amazed at all the things he told her to do and not to do. Many years after reading it, I realized it was to break down her ego and to teach her to surrender (my humble opinion only). I used to study about sufism many years ago, before I knew about Amma, and I seem to remember that music can be a very important part of their practice. For example sufi dancing (to music of course) is one of the best known of Sufi practices. You've probably heard of "whirling dervishes." I think that was a practice originally introduced by Rumi.
