Guest guest
Divine ones, Is there anyone who could tell me the date of Guru Purnima in 1975? According to an old calendar I have, there were full moons that year on June 23, July 23, and on August 21. How can I determine which of these was Guru Purnima? I had some very powerful spiritual experiences during the full moon in July of that year, and lately I've been wondering if that night was Guru Purnima. I first met Mother in the summer of 1994 and I asked Her if these and other spiritual experiences that I'd had prior to meeting Her had to do with Her. She gave me one of her famous enigmatic answers: "Everything that I'd experienced was all right, and She's always been there guiding me." May the radiant beams of Mother's divine love flow through your hearts and the hearts of all beings! Vaishnavi
Guest guest
Maharishi told us that Guru Purnimah is the first full moon in July. That's when I've celebrated it for 30 years. Guest guest
The night of July 22, 1975 was Guru Purnima. It's not necessarily the full Moon in July, it falls sometimes in June. If you have jyotish software, it's the full moon(in sidereal capricorn, near uttara ashadha nakshatra) after the sun-moon conjunction in sidereal gemini.
