There is a stage further along in the process where effort and seeking are no

longer the name of the game - but in the beginning, and for a long time,

efforts must be made. Nothing will happen if the effort-stage goes

uncompleted. Before being with Amma - and I've been with her for 12 years

now - I was for about twenty years on a contemplative Christian path, and

both received, gave, and studied the classical discipline of Spiritual

Direction. I see the same teachings in Amma's teachings as well. So these

are the grounds on which I put forth this sharing of my view of it. Hope it
