For Amma's Darling Children:

 

(Verse 27) Surely for all these beings, there is no truth higher than the

Guru. A seeker should offer a seat, a bed, clothing, ornaments, a vehicle,

and other things that will please the Guru. He should gratify the Guru; he

should dedicate his life to her.

 

(verse 28) Prostrate fully before the Guru without reserve, and continually

serve the Guru with mind, speech, and action.

 

(verse 35) Salutations to Shri Guru. In order to receive the true

understanding of the world, (I consider you to be) my father, my mother, my

brother, and my God.

Thank you for these precious words. I wonder if any of the other devotees

not already with Amma are feeling, like this child, as if they are in the

middle of a great whirling windstorm. I bless the windstorm, knowing it is

Amma's breath preparing me for her actual presence. These words bring some

calm.

I saw her for the first time last night with my family. It was very moving.

That makes at least three of us that are being blown around in the storm. I

can't believe how completely Mother is here with me in my home. And She's up

to Her usual tricks. My vasanas erupt and I pray deeply that I might

surrender to Her. Then I feel such a sweet peace. THEN I go through the whole

cycle all over again! It's just like when I'm in Her presence.

 

I'll get to go to the San Ramon Ashram starting Wednesday the thirteenth and

stay through Sunday. I invite all of you who will be there to come find me.

I'll be lying on a bed, probably in the "special needs" section. I would love

to see your beautiful faces to match with your beautiful names and words.
