Guest guest
For Amma's Darling Children (verse 60) May the divine glance of the Guru ever dwell upon me. It creates all the worlds. It brings all nourishment. It has the viewpoint of all holy scriptures. It regards wealth as useless. It removes faults. It remains focused on the Ultimate. It is the highest ruler of the three gunas, which constitute the world. Its only goal is (to lead others on) the path of liberation. It is the central pillar supporting the stage of all the worlds. It showers the nectar of compassion. It is the aggregate of all tattvas (principles of creation). It creates all time. It is Sacchidananda. Guest guest
beautiful. To stand before the Guru is to stand naked and defenseless as a newborn. My heart laid open to Guru's discerning gaze, like a diamond in the rough, I am broken again and again by facing my failure to live up to my Guru's demands. Every break cuts a new facet and every chastisement polishes it so that soon my heart is the shining jewel that reflects and refracts Guru's endless light. Of myself I am nothing but a mirror, facing my attention to the world, I am worldly, appearing dark and stained, but turning to the Guru, I shine with Guru's divine light and am cleansed of all tarnish. May I always hold my mind there, on Guru's grace that I may show others the light of my beloved Guru. in Amma, Verdena
