Dearest Amma Netters,

There are probably many sources to obtain copies of the Shri Guru Gita. The

source I know is the Siddha Yoga Bookstore. You can buy it on the Internet

by going to their website http://www.bookstore.siddhayoga.org/ When you

get to the site, click on Philosophy and Scripture from the menu on the left.

When you get to the Philosophy and Scripture page, scroll down. You can buy

The Nectar of Chanting, Item No. 205510 which contains the Guru Gita as well

as other chants and scriptures. That's the book I have. Or you can buy the

Guru Gita Pocket Edition, Item No. 205715, which contains just the Guru Gita.

Both books will have the Sanskrit text as well as the English translation. In

Siddha Yoga ashrams they chant the Guru Gita every morning. This website also

has a variety of tapes of the Guru Gita being chanted if anyone is

interested.

Perhaps someone else on the list knows of another easier way to get a copy.

If so, please let us know.

I love this scripture so very much, it is wonderful and deeply moving for me

to be able to share it with other Amma devotees.

Blessings,

vaishnavi

Hi,

Another way to get a copy of the Guru Gita is through

www.shreemaa.org. It is in the book "The Guru and the Goddess".

However, the little book that Siddha Yoga puts out is very easy to

hold while chanting.

Namaste,
