My Dear Viswanathan ,

 

I don't know any word with "murruttu" / "mudduttu" / "murrudhu" .

It should be "muthe muthe"/"muthu kkutta(son)"/"muthu mole(daughter)"

and the meaning is the same as what u mentioned , "darling daughter" and

"darling son" . Mothers in kerala used to call their small children

with "muthe" .

Anyways dear ones, when we were with our Mother

in Seattle, my daughter in darshan was mystified

to hear Mother saying over and over, "murruttu"

or "mudduttu" or "murrudhu" or something like

that.

that's very interesting. When I saw her she seemed to be saying "non, non,

non," something, and it was much more complicated than "muthe" it sounded

like a long sentance.

OM NAMASIVAYA,

muthu means pearls in malayalam.parents call their

children lovingly muthe,ponne (gold),thangam (also

pure gold).

non might be mone meaning son.
