AMMA F0UND ON CNN: After much lila!

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

Mother led me on a merry chase for the last two days trying to find her on

CNN. After my sending many frantic e-mails and after much searching the CNN

and TV guide web sites, I finally decided to just go to my VCR and begin

taping CNN, (expecting her to appear some time after 9:00 AM PT). It was

about 7 minutes before 9:00 AM PT, and just as I tuned into CNN they were

beginning to air the segment with Amma. So, after much scurrying around I

found it "by accident". If I'd waited and I'd carried out my plan to start

taping at 9:00, I would have missed it altogether! Our Amma, the "Divine

Scalawag!"

The broadcast was short but wonderful. I felt that it really captured the

feeling of being with Mother. I liked the way they kept emphasizing Mother's

spirituality, rather than focusing exclusively on her hugs (as divine as they

are). There were brief interviews with both long-term devotees and with new

comers. I was especially moved to watch Amma giving darshan to Meenakshi. I

think the camera was able to pick up the love and devotion that passed

between them. Perhaps the general public viewing this on TV will get a sense

of it.

Just imagine how many of Amma's darling children who have been long thirsting

for Her but didn't know about Her will find "their way home" to Mother's arms

through these recent telecasts. I'm sure we will be welcoming many new

brothers and sisters.
