After Mother left San Ramon this time, this song took on a lot of meaning for

me. It's on Santa Fe English bhajans Volume 5. I thought I'd share the words

with you all on this last day of the 2001 US tour.

Ôm Amriteswaryai Namah, Amalia

Take me deep in Your eyes, far away from my life,

to the place where we all become nothingness.

Take me deep in Your eyes, far away from my mind,

to the place where we all merge with everything.

Everywhere You go, I will be there with You;

no matter if it looks like I am here.

I have placed my heart like a flower at Your feet.

This night of sorrow ends when You are near.

All throughout my life, I have cherished just one dream,

the dream of knowing love that is divine.

When Your magic smile reached deep into my soul,

the tender light of hope began to shine.

Many tears have fallen on the ground where You have stood;

I'm drifting in a sea of memories.

Faith is my sole friend as I wait for Your return

and listen for Your voice in every breeze.

Some pray for salvation, some pray to be healed,

some will pray to realize the Truth.

Every night and day like a song that has no end,

I pray that I may always be with You

Take me deep in Your eyes, far away from my life,

to the place where we all become nothingness.

Take me deep in Your eyes, far away from my mind,

to the place where we all merge with everything.
