This may be interesting.....Hershey's gives a portion of their profits to

charity including an orphanage. One of their recent CEO's grew up in the

Hershey orphanage. Ten percent of their profits is what comes to mind for

what Hershey gives to their charities.

 

So, even the intent of the makers of the Hershey's kisses are sweet! Namah

Actually, as a kid growing up I listened to many

sermons telling how the Hershey's founder started

out giving 10% of profits to God and then as the

Lord continued to bless the business, the owner

kept tithing more and more until he ended up

giving 90% of the profits away and keeping only

10% for himself. I've often thought of this as

I see Amma handing out the Hershey's kisses.

(I have no idea what the company is doing these

days, but suspect there is at least some emphasis

on giving. In the early days, there weren't as

many chocolate competitors:-)!)
