Guest guest
this is a post from another on another list.. be aware that the int'l corporate meat industry is trying to defame gurus through their agents.. "I have never met Amma, but she appears very saintly and I have experienced tears from seeing her on video. But that does not change the story of how she once in her merciful "Kali Bhava" took a live chicken and sucked it completely dry of blood in front of one of her first intimate disciples from Germany. Very caring and loving to all creatures, this divine mother, isnt she? This reliable story can be traced and comes from Jens Sethi in Germany (who has attacked other gurus as well with his lies)"
Guest guest
Sounds like nonsense to me. We all heard the stories of birds and dogs bringing Amma food when she was young. This included fish and I don¹t know what else. But the live chicken bit sounds like someone¹s just trying to make mischief.
Guest guest
What a twisted contribution! So seems you see Pro-meat conspirative activity in stories which have in fact nothing to do with your field of activity and you like to defame gurus too. > "I have never met Amma, but she appears very saintly and I have > experienced tears from seeing her on video. Almost everybody is touched by her heartfulness. > But that does not change the story of how she once in her merciful > "Kali Bhava" took a live chicken and sucked it completely dry of blood > in front of one of her first intimate disciples from Germany. Very > caring and loving to all creatures, this divine mother, isnt she? Huh this story is old! There is even a trace of truth in it. As far as I know a cock was offered to Ammachi in Devi Bhava and she accepted it. Seems this man thought that might be the right way to get entangled with Kali-Devi. I remember having heard that (Devi)Amma asked the same man at a later darshan "Where is the bird?". She was making a joke. Eventually the man had realized that this Devi isn't very interested in sacrificial chicken but she was playing with him. In some ritualistic offerings dedicated to Kali a cock is offered to please the goddess. In Nepal this is common even today. Seems in Kerala such practice was or is common too. As far as I know Amma never adviced this approach. In those days this little incident sparked a rumour that Ammachi is sucking the blood of sacrificial chicken. It was circulated before or after her first visit to Thiruvanamalai. So around 1982. What an old story. > This reliable > story can be traced and comes from Jens Sethi in Germany (who has > attacked other gurus as well with his lies)" Jens Sethi has had his encounters with Baba. Is he now on a crusade against every Indian Guru? I couldn't trace the story by J. Sethi and it is anyway more a funny incident than reflecting or having to do with Ammas Message of the heart. Whatever, I assume people on this list want to share there experiences and feelings with Amma and get constructive hints to unfold the relationship with the spiritual realm within with the help of Amma. In my understanding she in her Kali aspekt can destroy negative personality traits which burden us deep within. To allow her love, her energy to churn us and to let go of life negating tendencies is the sacrifice she is waiting for. Her love and grace will be there in this process and ease the journey.
