"Donate to > the Red Cross" was one answer I got, but the one that > keeps coming through the loudest is "PRAY. PRAY. > PRAY." This is exactly what Amma seemed to tell this child also. When we were in NYC for the programs in July, our children told us there was probably going to be a shortage of blood in NY because most came from Europe and they might be banning it due to mad cow disease. I'm not sure if they did. Anyway, donating blood is a good way to help in a very direct and important way as we continue to pray. When I went to the Red Cross today here in Madison, there was a 2 hour wait and we had to make an appointment. This was so heartening.
