Guest guest
Helloo mohanji .. It's good question .. But the message all masters are same is n't it ? ... and it is Meditation & Awareness in every moment ..few masters encourage celebration ( sing , dance , laugh & celebrate ) as well , as NO MIND celebration of being in the present moment is as good as NO MIND meditation .. From celebration point of view there will not be any confusion reg. whom to follow . But as far as meditation is concerned the one to whom you feel MORE SURRENDER ATTITTUDE is the best one for you to follow ... because Natural meditation .. that jumping to the unknown .. it happens very rarely even though everybody may TRY TO Meditate . The advantage of surrender is that there is a natural silence following that surrender even though we may not be aware of that & depending upon the intensity of surrender the depth of silence grows .. Amma too encourage for trying to cry by calling ' Amma Amma ' .. It is because of your greatness that you are getting opportunity to meet all great masters & There is no need to say NO to other masters & their satsang groups . It increases our acceptance level .. SO .. Keep in touch with as many satsang groups as possible , but with the attittude of giving your energy and support to that group .. Only precaution which I can tell from my experience is that avoid reading a lot of books which may confuse us little bit .. with luv Your little brother Ranjeesh London "Only a perfect egoist can surrender. Because only he knows the misery of the ego, only he has the strength to surrender. He has known all the possibilities of the ego and has gone into immense frustration. He has suffered a lot, and he knows enough is enough, and he wants any excuse to surrender it. The excuse may be God, the excuse may be a master, or any excuse, but he wants to surrender it. The burden is too much and he has been carrying it for long." THE MASTER << does anyone know how Amma would respond to the question: "Amma i have an affinity towards all realised beings. but two in particular have caught my attention. how do i know which one is my true Guru? need i pick one?" i would also like to introduce myself(my manners aren't up to par). my name is mohan. i met amma for the first time this past summer in DC. i went there with a group of people from an ashram nearby. now i live in athens GA. thanks to all who responded to my last post. i will follow up on that advice as soon as possible. namaste ??
