Dark Mother, Bears, and Amma Dolls

Dear Ones,

 

When I shared with the list my friend Clare's idea of

a foundation to place teddy bears in ambulances for

scared children, several of Amma's children wrote me

that they wished it could be an Amma doll instead of a

bear. I said that, if Ammachi could appear as Krishna

and Devi, why couldn't she have been shining her love

out of all those teddy bears that have been comforting

children of all ages for so many years?

 

Well, it might be true. Apparently, there is a

connection between bears or a bear and the Dark

Mother (Black Madonna). I am in the process of tracking down the

details through Professor Lucia Birnbaum who has made

an extensive study of the Black Madonna. Does anyone

on the list know more?
