Guest guest
Rakshasha (I think that's the spelling) is what I think Ekanath was referring to in his SSB posts, because it certainly fits the description, the exact same description of a handful of people I work with. I think it's in the B.Gita that talks about that people are either born with divine tendencies, or demonic ones, and that the most dangerous Rakshashas are the ones that through tapas in other lifetimes have acquired a certain degree of Intelligence. I tried to search the internet where I saw the definition, but it may be in the B.Gita, of a Rakshasha (demonic person): someone who is not satisfied with living their own life, needs to cause harm or disruption to other's lives; disrupts the good actions of others; has sadistic tendencies, enjoying the infliction of pain and suffering in others. In my job, I had tried to be tolerant and accepting, but eventually the Righteous Battle must be fought, (as Luke Skywalker eventually had to return and fight Darth Vader again, live or die) which I'm currently involved in, which now will finally put my bosses' in their place, for the benefit of everyone I work with. Other's had tried, but lacked the intelligence that I was gifted with, and so my prayers and perserverence should bring good results for this "endgame" of sorts. When dealing with Rakshashas, especially intelligent ones, it's like dealing with a rabid dog or crazy person, you just can't be accepting and let them run wild, they must be dealth with. Unfortunately, Ekanath could not see this. My situation has been extremely stressful, but inspiring and I know through the sadhana I do to counter the current severe planetary afflictions in my chart and to Devi, have been the positive effect of such intense suffering. Chapter 16 of the Bhagavad Gita discusses "the divine and demoniac natures". Ch. 16, Sloka 4: "Arrogance, pride, anger, conceit, harshness and ignorance - these qualities belong to those of demonic nature, O son of Prtha" (Arjuna). Slokas 10-12: "The demoniac, taking shelter of insatiable lust, pride and false prestige and being thus illusioned, are always sworn to unclean work, attracted by the impermanent. They believe that to gratify the senses unto the end of life is the prime necessity of human civilization. Thus there is no end to their anxiety. Being bound by hundreds and thousands of desires, by lust and anger, they secure money by illegal means for sense gratification". above translations from the Hare Krishna/ISKCON version of the Gita, "Bhagavad Gita as It Is".
