Guest guest
Hari Om! i wish to offer this dilemma of mine up to all the great minds willing to listen. it is to my understanding from teachings i have recieved that the guru is Satchidananda, existance knowledge bliss absolute. i am now in a situation where i feel that i may benefit more by accepting Amma as my guru. but there is already a guru with whom i have spent time and have learned many lessons. i have taken mantra initiation with both, Amma being the latter. now my dilemma is how do i see the truth in both? i've been told that i must choose one guru. taking one embodiment as my ishta-devata seems to me to be limiting my self. is accepting the light as my teacher regardless of external form the true way? or am i being greedy? and how do i release my devotion to the former guru while remaining grateful and respectful? of course this is a choice for me and me alone but i could use some external guidance maybe in the form of scripture regarding this matter. hopefully Amma has addressed this issue in the past that someone could remember and share with me. thank you for any input you may offer.
