Namaste,

 

Usually the guru gives the mantra to the chela after

very many years of observing the student and making

sure that he lives upto certain standards and after he

has attained some degree of chitta shuddhi. This more

for the guru's own welfare rather than for the

student's welfare as the guru would have to take on a

lot of karma of the chela if the chela is unprepared.

In Amma's case, is she not the divine mother herself

in human form in which case any bad karma from the

student can instantly be burnt up in toto. At least

this is my understanding of why Amma gives diksha to

all without any questions.
