Are you referring to getting a new name- I know that Amma does not freely give a new name to an initiate as she does with mantra initiation. Guest guest
Dear Vijay, getting a new name is a different issue. May be "real powerful diksha" is not the right word. What I wanted to express is that only few people are ready to be real disciples attuning their lives as much as they can to the challenges of a guru- disciple relationship. If you do much for her she'll give you much. May be in the beginning you just play with the mantra. Later you might get some effect on your conciousness from it and you start to take it more serious. After a year you see Amma again and she'll see where you are at with your practice and might invite you to come to India for further growth. Or you might choose to serve her in some way and strenghten the bond in this way. Hope this clarified my stance on the theme " Mantra for everybody" LutzAmmachi, Yoga man <childofdevi> wrote: > Namaste Lutz > > >-The mantra diksha she gives out freely is just a > >starter.
