As many of you may know, some social micreants have started a communal riot in India, chiefly in Gujarat. Amma is on Her way to Mumbai, Gujarat (March 7-10) I think. The main reason for this is that the Hindus want to rebuild a Ram temple in Ayodhya. This was the ancient site of a Hindu Temple. In 1556 or thereabout, a Mugal emperor demolished it and built a mosque. In 1992, the Hindu radicals demolished the mosque and now want to build a temple, against a ruling by the court. They want to start this on March 15th. Ironically, Amma will be New Delhi on 13, 14 and I don't know exactly, but there is a Brahmasthanam festival beginning March 15th. Delhi is very close to Ayodhya. I know Amma does not need our prayers, but the sweetness of devotion is such that it blinds the devotee to the Omniscience of God. S/he thinks of protecting God overcome with this love. Let us also join in this bhava and pray for Amma, Her entourage, as well as the perpetrators and victims of such violence. Jai Ma!
