In a way I feel good that Amma is going to the very places where the rioting is at its peak. The immortal yogi Kaka Bhusunda of the Yoga Vasishta, who defied Yama because he knew how to merge prana and apana vayus and thus escape death..., is supposed to have a radius of 20 kilometers around him where his divinity could be felt by everyone there. So no crime was commited 20 kilometers around him. Gautama Buddha was supposed to have a radius of 10 kilometers around him where no crime was commited. I dont know exactly what Amma's radius is nor do I know what the crime statistics were in New York city when she was here, but most certainly, her darshan could be felt from far outside of Columbia university campus. So Amma is the very person to visit these places to santify the atmosphere, if not to nullify the vile influence of crooked politicians(who are probably at this moment exhorting their cohorts to go and attack their enemies).
