Guest guest
Jai Ma! Does anyone know what happens when one has darshan (from japa/meditation) of the deity of the mantra one has been initiated into? Has Ammachi said anything about this? Please HELP! Jai Ma! Guest guest
Namah Shivaya If this has happened, -if one has got darshan of the deity whose mantra one is initiated into- from what i know this is a very high stage- i would suggest that you ask Amma what to do next in your sadhana etc. bala --- snakecharmer108 <snakecharmer108 wrote: > Jai Ma! > Does anyone know what happens when one has darshan > (from > japa/meditation) of the deity of the mantra one has > been initiated > into? Guest guest
Sometimes you'll get darshan of the deity just to keep you motivated. Mantras received from a guru have power, but the potential of the mantra is only realized through japa of it. From my understanding, mantras go through various phases before becoming effective. Having darshan is not necessarily a sign of attainment of the mantra or sadhana. It's best to ignore such experiences and stick to the japa and meditation. Guest guest
Dear fellow seeker, What is your intend when you ask this? Did something happen to you and you are not shure if that what happens is genuine, beneficial etc.? In my own experience when "something" happened after intensive mantra practice there was no need to get an explanation from somebody. It was nice that Amma inquired about it but she didn't say. Whow great achievement or anything like that. It would have boosted my ego only anyway. When you meet your dreamwoman and you fall in love there is also no need of explanation before or after. You just enjoy it. If it was true love you'll see in the long run. If you have a vision of your deity it only means something if your life changes after this meeting. If that does not happen it was just an image on the screen of your mind. If you practice a little the energy generated might stirr up all sorts of stuff from your unconcious self. Some of it is rubbish and other stuff might be symbolic communications from different inner aspects of your self Greetings Lutz Ammachi, "snakecharmer108" <snakecharmer108> wrote: > Jai Ma! > Does anyone know what happens when one has darshan (from > japa/meditation) of the deity of the mantra one has been initiated > into?
