Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Brothers and Sisters, Oh..........as the subject of "direction" of worship and sleeping surfaced several days ago, I suspected that many interpretations would arise. I have been a Black Hat Tibetan Feng Shui consultant for 8 years, and am studying Vastushastra as well. No doubt we would all accept that directions for worship and sleep are critical for our health. Entrances are also significant, and many of the Asian forms of the Art of Placement, the Art of Creating Harmony for Interiors, Landscaping, Siting, and Architecture.............have differing concepts. Since these directions are so important to my consultations, and Feng Shui literature often is in opposition to Vastu ..........also despite the many books and teachings I have recieved on both topics............I approached Dayamrita Swami when he visited my home and puja room, who clearly advised me that Amma's pictures behind my puja should face North or East.......thus I would be facing South or West as a worshipper. Also, when Swami Ramakrishna assisted us in setting up a bed for Amma, he had us have her head facing south. I questioned this, and Swami Ramakrishna was firm, and I was advised not to question him as he is well versed in Vastu. I realize this will open more conversation.......and it is my hope.......that one brother or sister would please approach Dayamrita Swami in San Ramon or Swami Ramakrishna in Toronto on the topic, I think we would all benefit. Om Namah Shivaya, Amritavarshini
