Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, Shelly, I am so sorry that you had to wait so long with your kids...they should have placed you in a family/special needs line to get Amma's darshan much quicker! Kids do fall apart, and four hours is HARD on a 2 year old!!! And Tom, you are absolutely right regarding politics. It is true of every platform of life. The secret is, I guess, not to look at the negative, but the positive. And there were several volunteers who were Trojans, and humble about it (also mostly non-Indian Americans). There is much I need to learn from them...and the few officious ones just made me feel small for no reason. And I am weak enough to resent it! Well, thanks for listening and realigning my thoughts. Bless you. By the way, my husband David, my little girl and I are moving to Hyderabad, India later this month. We plan to live there (David has a job with an American company that has relocated him there) for a year or two, probably closer to the latter. We are excited and a little nervous about it...even though I grew up in India and my family is still there. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be keeping our AOL address while in India as it is not a service provider in India. It is much harder to get email from the site in India. So, I am going to provide an alternate address where any of you who wish to contact me can do it. I will also from this site in a few days, as it will be hard for me to keep up with the postings in the coming few months. If I find I have a good connection, then I will certainly re. Meanwhile, I will provide my new address in a few days for those who would like to stay in touch. Guest guest
Usha, Oh please I am not to upset we had to wait 4 hours. I understand that people in India often wait over 10 hours. And to me just seeing her and being able to sit in the same room is more than enough of a darshan for me. It was hard on my 2 year old only because he adores Amma very very much. He saw her and wanted to so much to go right to her. The program guide we were given is his new lovey as it has her picture. And just recently a friend sent us a picture she got in Singapore of Amma in Devi Bhava and it is just beautiful but it took a few days for me to get it in a frame since Jake wanted to hold it and tell us how much he love her and she love him. I wanted to wish you many blessing with your move. How exciting. Hope you are able to find a good connection and rejoin the list.
