Guest guest
I guess I'll weigh in on this one. Back in the old days, pre-nineties, I recall in India how the Indians would sit so closely together in line, making it impossible for others, non-Indians, to get in darshan line. This was in the "hut" before everything became organized. I was bothered by the selfishness, even at the foot of the Divine, which occurred. Everyone wanted their turn, and the politics was decidedly anti-non-Indian. Maybe they resented that Westerners were given certain preferences by Amma, I don't know. But, I do agree, on the other hand, that the Westerners who organize the seva, are themselves acting like appointees of the High Court oftentimes. People can't help using "selfless service" for "selfish service." Avram
