On top of being nervous, as they were > "training" me, "Take the prasad > from your right, pass it to your left, to the left > hand of your team mate who > puts it in Amma's hand" I became terrified - I'm > dyslexic - I'm not dyslexic, but I have done this prasad hand-out a couple of times as part of the Toronto satsang group, and I've gotten terrifed out of fear of ****ing it up. I find it helps to keep my eyes riveted on Amma's left hand, watching for her to open her hand to take the hershey kisses and flower pettals. But she doesn't always fully open her palm. Sometimes it's just a half-clenched fist. Now why do they only give the little packets of vibhuti to Indians? What's the point? Shouldn't everyone get the vibhuti along with the chocolate and flower petal? Is there not enough of it to go around? How do they know if a South Asian person is just visiting from India, is a recent immigrant, or has roots in America for several generations? Keval Health - Feel better, live better http://health.
