Guest guest
I think the official policy now is, if you would like to dance, please do it at the back of the hall, so others won't get disturbed. Amma often tells Amarnath to dance, and he dances wildly, and She seems to enjoy it soo much, laughing and looking at him, always encouraging him not only to dance, but dance on the stage for others to see also. In LA this year late one night, she asked Amarnath to dance and after he finished she asked Jahni (sp?) from the bookstore to dance also-Amma even told what song to play while J danced. One american girl that loved to dance, she would rarely do so on the balcony in SR, because she was aware of the criticism, i would often find her outside behind the temple during bhajans dancing. In India she said she would try to find a dark area outside and dance to the Devi Bhava bhajans. Once she heard how someone complained to Amma about this girl dancing, and Amma said dancing is her sadhana-her path-she should not stop dancing. Guest guest
Two years ago when Amma was in San Rafael there were some kids dancing in the back all night. One of them was incredible. My wife and I couldn¹t stop watching him. Extremely expressive, graceful, and well-coordinated. He had an extremely bright face, too. It looked like dancing really heightened his awareness. -- > "sinarosej" <sinarosej > Ammachi > Sat, 10 Aug 2002 16:39:38 -0000 > Ammachi > Dancing > > > I think the official policy now is, if you would like to dance, > please do it at the back of the hall, so others won't get disturbed. > Amma often tells Amarnath to dance, and he dances wildly, and She > seems to enjoy it soo much, laughing and looking at him, always > encouraging him not only to dance, but dance on the stage for others > to see also.
