Guest guest
I am sorry. I did not mean to insult anyone. But for some strange reason I have been wanting to say that a long time ago. Amma is right on target when she says that "devotees should be like a horse with blinders on, looking only at the Guru, not at others" However, at the beginning (and even after a while with her) I think we all look at times to the devotees for a sign of what is like to be around Amma. Please forgive me if I insulted anyone with my comments. And about the typos, well, some things are very hard to fix. No matter how much I try, they still get in. My respects to all,

Guest guest
I'm sorry for ever mentioning the letter, because discussion and speculation as to Gayatri's leaving has happened anyways. I think what people have posted about Amma's and the Swami's comments about it, say it all. Sure, with some other gurus, you might start to question their authenticity if their closest disciples start leaving, but I think most on this list are beyond questioning Amma's authenticity. Discussing things that will help others is one thing, and can be done without giving too many real-life examples, as we don't always know the underlying causes of people's actions, and the general public doesn't deserve access to deep issues or problems of individuals. tom

Tom, What I have been trying to put across is that no one should be trying to put blinders to look only a the Guru to anyone except himself. If you had not mentioned the email/letter some one else would have done so. Besides, we are supposed to be seekers of the truth, no matter how ugly it is. Does the image of Kali with her red thong sticking out, a decapitated head in one hand with a sword with blood on the another rings a bell to you? I think that hiding this types of issues makes more harm than putting them on the table. Again, those that do not wish to see, can close their eyes. But if anyone tries to put their hands around mine will soon find out, that it does not work. All in all, i respect your point of views, however I would lie, if I say that I agree with you. Respectfully --- Om Namah Shivaya
