Guest guest
Ramakrishna Swami gave a lovely satsang about the devotees' attraction to Amma, and how much She loves us. He compared this to the Gopis' love for Krishna. The altar was beautiful with purple and yellow roses and lotuses. The Krishna statue was dressed and garlanded and the baby Krishna doll put in an appearance! We sang many Krishna bhajans and just before midnight Dayamrita Swami started reading the translation of Lord Krishna's birth from the Srimad Bhagavatam. When he read the part where the Birth takes place, the conch and gong and bells were sounded. Then we sang," Agatanayi, agatanayi vishnu devan, Lord Vishnu has come," a song by Amma (Bhajanamritam vol.1 p.59). It was very exciting! I wish you all could have been there.
