I wasn't sure. The huge multi-national food conglomerates have a strong presence worldwide. The virgin coconut oil I buy is made by hand; it wouldn't surprise me if there were cheaper, mass produced seed oils available there for less. Even coconut oil can be processed into inedible glop when pressed from moldy copra and then bleached, filtered, and sometimes even hydrogenated.
