The person who posted this NY Times article is a female, so I don't know who you are talking about. There are innumerable articles all over the web about Sai Baba that are exposing his abuses of power. It's hardly a revelation to anyone. > > <<<you are either a conscious or ignorant > pawn of the CIA disinformation campaign on Sai Baba.. > conducted by the Vancouver Sun (invested in cattle and treekilling) > and London Times (owned by Fox' Rupert Murdoch, called the most > vulgar man in broadcasting by a US senator) > > Baba is a mirror.. there must be a child abuser in you you have > not forgiven if you project it onto the Avatar, the only > being in history to have over 100 million followers acknowledge > His avatarhood.>>>> It's inconsistent that you encourage to people to think critically about power brokers like the CIA, Vancouver Sun, and London Times, but when individuals think critically about a powerful religious leader like Sathya Sai Baba, you immediately accuse them of projecting their own qualities onto him. According to this logic, it would be impossible to criticize Sai Baba, which I suppose is advantageous if you want people to follow you blindly. I would encourage people to simply read and decide for themselves. With all we've been through in America with fundamentalist preachers, Catholic priest abuses, and corrupt gurus, we are hardly in a position to blindly believe what religious leaders tell us, or obey people who tell us never to criticize a religious leader for fear of being accused of projecting or own qualities onto them. If people are going to exploit this group to promote gurus other than Amma, we have to respond lest the readers might be victimized by an abusive leader. Since God is love, it's a moral obligation we have to one another as fellow Eastern seekers, and many former Sai Baba followers have been brave about doing this (I was never a follower, although I have friends who are former followers). If people want to promote Sai Baba, there are many discussion groups on dedicated to him, including one dedicated to paranoid conspiracy theories such as those mentioned above called "godsfoes". I suspect that the person who wrote me this letter started that group because it's the exact same information. Here's a link to the group if you want to read their introduction and see if I'm correct about the person who posted this letter. : Godsfoes I recommend at least reading the first letter below, written by Shirley Pike, a longtime follower of Sai Baba and former president of the North Central region. ==-- Jai Ma, the source of love==- Nick A letter from an ex-Sai officer Sai Baba: how it works Sai Baba: the "Bad Side" The account of an ex-student The story of Jed The story of an ex-devotee The story of Hans The story of Tal Brooke Conny Larsson's story The story of Said Sai Baba: THE FINDINGS
Guest guest
Dear Soul Quest, I don't think that Michael P would appreciate your attacks. you are either a conscious or ignorant pawn of the CIA disinformation campaign on Sai Baba.. conducted by the Vancouver Sun (invested in cattle and treekilling) and London Times (owned by Fox' Rupert Murdoch, called the most vulgar man in broadcasting by a US senator) Baba is a mirror.. there must be a child abuser in you you have not forgiven if you project it onto the Avatar, the only being in history to have over 100 million followers acknowledge His avatarhood.
