Namaste, Avinash -

Just wanted to clarify something about the term "charismatic

christians". I believe this refers to a kind of sect of

Christianity in which the followers become rather

enraptured with the holy spirit and "speak in tongues" (I

guess they make sounds and speak in languages that people

don't understand) or wail and roll about. I'm not entirely

sure, because I've never seen this, and I'm not one, but I

think that's what the term refers to. It doesn't refer to any

personality traits of the individuals.

I suspect that part of your upset over some of these posts

may be due to English being your second language, and

not fully understanding certain colloquialisms and slang

terms. So perhaps it would be better to ask for clarification

about something that upsets you before lashing out?

Also, would you mind not shouting? You're probably aware

that typing all in caps LIKE THIS is the equivalent of

shouting on the internet, and I personally find it a little

upsetting. I can't speak for anyone else, of course, and this

is simply a request - you're not required to do it for my

sake, but I certainly would appreciate it. Thanks.

Blessings,

Achintya

Thank you Connie/Achintya, for your patient and even-handed explanation.

I don't know whether Avinash is listening, but I appreciated your effort.

Namaste,
