Om Amriteshwari Namah

I am using this example only as an illustration. It

cannot demonstrate Ammachi's true capabilities and

infinite love even 0.01%.

--------------------

Here's an engineer's take on what receiving a mantra

from Ammachi is all about:

You know that you have communication capabilities by

the use of your mind, but you rarely use it. When you

sign up for an Internet account, the ISP (Aol or Msn)

will ask you to choose a user name and password. There

are always restrictions like the user name should be

at least 5 characters, no numbers, etc..

Each time you want to access the infinite (read

Internet), you would use that user name/password which

the Administrator gave you.

Ammachi(the supreme Administrator and Guru) tries her

best to not have any restrictions (unlike the ISP in

the above example) on which religion/deity you wish to

receive mantra and invoke in order to progress

spiritually. Every time you say your Mantra with

devotion in your heart, Ammachi will definitely hear

it. Which is why it makes sense why a standard format

like this is used:

Om XYZ Namah

[where XYZ= {Krishnave(Lord Krishna),

Kristave(Christ), Amriteshwari (Mother of Infinite

Love)....}]

Ammachi herself has to understand your chosen mantra

and invoke the corresponding deity when granting you

the mantra. Since she is used to the above format, it

becomes easier for her to grant a mantra as well as

hear and understand your sincere prayers (mantra japa)

later on..

When Amma agrees to give you a mantra, she takes the

responsibility of showing you the correct path.

Whether one sticks to the right path or not depends on

one's commitment. If you do not use the Internet for

say 30 minutes, AOL or MSN will log you out.

Not so with Ammachi. She will always keep that channel

of communication open even if you do not repeat your

mantra. But, the more you repeat your mantra, the

stronger the bond between master and student becomes.

Spiritual progress (which is the reason you asked for

a mantra anyway) will definitely happen if you repeat

your mantra constantly.

Peace to all my spiritual brothers and sisters,

Ammachi loves us all equally.

Om Namah Shivaya,

Ravi Krishnan
