Guest guest
I've created a new folder in the Files section called Chanting Devi. I've uploaded texts of the Sannyaasa Sukta chanted as Amma enters the darshan hall (taken from the internet, but vowels have been edited) and the Sanskrit text for the Devi Meditation (Sinduur Aaruna Vigrahaam...). I've also uploaded music files (mp3 format) for the Sannyaasa Sukta (slowed down from the original and edited for clarity) and two files for the Devi Meditation Verse. One is at a moderate speed and another file with it slowed down for learning. This is the same or similar melody for the meditation that's found at most satsang chantings. I encoded them to Mp3 format at minimal bitrates to keep the file size small, yet clear enough for listening. I hope to have the 1000 Names stotra uploaded by xmas, but still need to chant in the missing verse and decide how many segments I want to break it up into, to ease downloading for those of us with dial-up connections and older, slower computers. Thanks to Amma for the freeware to record the wav files and finding a $5 mp3 maker program. tom
