I have been meditating on Her grace for about a month. In my meditation this afternoon, I was overcome by her presence in a very profound way. It was as if She were here with me. Her presence was so strong and protective. I have never experienced this before. I felt as if Her arms were around me, protecting me. Is this Her special blessing for the holiday season, or was she protecting me from something specific? Has anyone else had this experience? Guest guest Posted December 26, 2002 Report Share Posted December 26, 2002 hi kevin, yes, you will find that many here have had this sort of experience, but it's extraordinary that you have had it without ever having met Mother!... well, actually, on second thought even that isn't all that out of the ordinary...her Grace and Protection are always there, but you were open and receptive to Her since, as you said, you have been meditating on Her for a short while now...when we meditate on something or someone we put ourselves in contact with it or them directly, and this is especially true when it comes to Amma, being that She is aware of our thoughts even before WE are! there is no doubt She was responding to your sincere concentration on Her with a Divine Hug to let you know She was listening... this experience can give you a taste of the kind of relationship that it's possible to develop with our Beloved Amma...and will give you an idea of why its so easy for us to fall at Her Feet in awe of Her Omnipresent Love... Jai Ma!
