Guest guest
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Amma's family, I am rather new to the list and so have missed reading some inspiring stories, as maybe have some other new-comers too. I would like to request my elder brothers and sisters on the list to share what previous Amma stories they think might be inspiring for me to read ( or their favorite story) that either have been posted on this list, or any other list. This could be done by pointing out the message number of a story on this list, or directing me to a link if there is another story posted on another list. I humbly ask your patience with this request of a new comer. I thought that this might be a way for me to have a good New Year's satsang. Some times I feel sorry for myself for not being able to spend much time in Amma's physical presence, or be near a satsang group,..... I just have to work harder to connect with the Amma inside. Also, I would like to ask if any of you have any stories connected to the pictures in the new 2003 Amma Calendar . Maybe even some of your faces might be seen in the devotees around Amma in the pictures, and if so please let us know. I joined the list last June, but have not had the opportunity to consistently follow the the postings on the list until I came home from seeing Amma on tour in London in November . June through October was a trying and chaotic time for me personally. I write this to explain that it was not because of lack of interest that I did not read all of the list posts in that time period. So, I ask the patience of my elder siblings on the list. Small story: Last Christmas (2001) I got a computer as a gift from my brother. This is interesting because about 4 or 5 years ago I asked Amma if it would be good for me to try and buy or get a computer and She answered "No ". I then put aside the thought of owning a computer, trusting that Amma knows what is best. Amma knew when and how She would arrange for me to get a computer, and at the right time. Also, finally in October this computer's connection to the ADSL link in the home began working, so now connecting to the internet is easy. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding. Best Wishes for a Happy New Year, Sara J.
