Guest guest
Privately, Amma has said many things, some of which get more publicity than others, most of which should be kept private. For example, that Amma is the reincarnation of Sri Ramakrishna or Sri Sarada Devi, or a combination of both (does it really matter?). Even the 108 names have 4 names that mention this, even though according to some ashramites there were originally 4 sets of 108 names composed by various people. This same ashramite 4 years ago also told me that at that time, the swami's were placing more importance on Devi's names than the current Amma 108 because of this mentioning which really couldn't be proved and therefore best left out. No "official" change was ever made. Many years ago, "privately" Amma supposedly said that the energy of Sri RK and Sri Sarada is in her body, which the original listening devotee claimed is confirmation that she is the re-incarnation of Sri RK and Sri Sarada and Amma told this devotee never ask her again about it. If she was, why was she cryptic about it? This is why private things said are best left private, meant for those that hear it. There are those that even try to find relationships between Jesus' 12 disciples, Sri Ramakrishna's 12 disciples and Amma's early disciples, as if there's some sort of cosmic super team that re-incarnates to save the world every so often. The plus side is "so what?", but if you're wrong, then the false belief system created has wasted much of your life. Amma's teachings of Sanathana Dharma don't support such a limited belief. "Baba is the sun... I am the moon" can mean different things, depending on how you interpret the sun and moon. From one perspective it can be used to lower the divine status of Ammachi compared to Sai Baba, while others can see them as the same, just different roles to play. tom Ammachi, "abbajesus <ar112326@h...>" <ar112326@h...> wrote: > While publicly Ammachi has been more silent.. > privately to devotees she has said "Baba is the sun..
