Guest guest
Hello. I have not met Ammachi but I hope to next time she is in town. I have read her words on her website (& in books) where she stresses the importance of japa. Since I do not have a mantra, are there any in particular that Amma has recommended over others? Guest guest
Dear John, it is always nice to hear from someone interested in seeing Amma. At the following web site there is information on mantras that Amma says are good for us to chant, including the mantra: Om Namah Sivaya Om Namah Sivaya http://www.amritapuri.org/spiritual/archana/manasapuja.htm On an individual level it is best to ask Amma for a personal mantra when you see her. The book store at http://www.mothersbooks.org sells a CD of the chant Om Namah Sivaya In Amma's Love, Sara Ammachi, "John <rockstarcentral>" <rockstarcentral> wrote: > Hello. Guest guest
Hello John, When my oldest daughter was around 9 years old, she was told to chant "Ma-Om" until the following year at which time she was given a personal mantra from Amma. As you chant "Ma" imagine divine love, and as you chant "Om", divine light. Om Amriteshvaryai Namaha Fe - <rockstarcentral <Ammachi> Monday, December 30, 2002 2:21 PM mantras for japa > Hello.
