You must be going across the Pacific. I went NYC/London/Kuwait/Trivandrum route. Most airways from the east coast arrive Bombay or Delhi around midnight and you wait for 6 or 7 hours for the final leg to Trivandrum. Neither airport is the place to be during the night.
